I am a watercolour artist based in the town of Halifax, West Yorkshire. I draw much inspiration from the surrounding landscape and the rich history of this region. My journey as an artist has led me to specialise in the medium of watercolour painting but I also work in acrylic paints and draw using pencils, pens and charcoal. My studio, where my artwork comes to life, is based at Fletcher’s Mill, part of the Dean Clough complex where I am one of the artists’ in residence.

I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Architecture and Art History in 2002. I then embraced the exciting path of self-employment, specialising in house and pet portraits which continue to make up the bulk of my commissioned works to this day.

Over the years I have had the privilege of undertaking numerous commissions for private art collectors across the United Kingdom and beyond. By combining my architectural background with my artistic sensibilities, I have been able to breathe life into house portraits, capturing the unique character and essence of each individual property.

As I progress on this journey I look forward to engaging with new artistic challenges, creating beautiful artworks, and forging enduring connections with a diverse array of art lovers from all walks of life.
